Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Noxe collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (for sign-in and cloud sync).
- Content you create: profile details, ratings, notes, comments, and messages.
- Photos you choose to add — only the specific images you pick.
- Connected accounts (optional): if you link Steam, we import your public game hours; if you link Spotify, we import your top tracks and artists. Both are used to build your taste profile, and you can disconnect either at any time.
- Push notification token: if you turn on notifications, your device's push token, so we can tell you about likes, comments, follows, and messages. Turning notifications off stops this.
How we use it
To run your account, sync your data across your devices, and power taste-matching and recommendations. We do not sell your personal data.
Where it's stored
With our backend provider (Supabase) and cached locally on your device.
Your choices
Edit or remove your data in the app, disconnect linked accounts, or permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete account.
Children
Noxe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Terms of Use
By creating an account or using Noxe, you agree to these Terms and to our Community Guidelines.
- You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
- You are responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it.
- You grant Noxe a limited licence to display the content you post within the app.
- Media titles, cover art, and metadata belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification and discovery only — Noxe claims no ownership of them.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
- Noxe is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Noxe is not liable for user content or third-party data.
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.
Copyright & takedown
Noxe respects intellectual property rights. Cover art, metadata, and other media details are provided by third-party catalogues (see Data & attributions) and remain the property of their owners. If you are a rights holder and believe content shown in Noxe infringes your copyright, email help@noxeteam.com with the work concerned and where it appears in the app, and we will review and remove or replace it promptly. Users can also flag specific content in-app using Report → "Intellectual property".

Noxe is a place to celebrate the media you love. To keep it safe for everyone, we have ZERO TOLERANCE for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
Not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, or threats of any kind
- Hate speech or slurs targeting any group
- Sexual content or nudity
- Violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm
- Spam, scams, or impersonation
- Sharing anyone's private information
How we keep it safe
- Objectionable language is filtered automatically.
- Every post, comment, and profile can be reported (tap ⋯ → Report) or blocked.
- Reports are reviewed by the Noxe team, and we act on violations within 24 hours.
- Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or permanently removed.

Data & attributions
Noxe shows media titles, cover art, and details from third-party catalogues so you can identify and discover the things you love. All titles, artwork, and metadata belong to their respective owners — Noxe claims no ownership of them, and they are shown for identification and discovery only.
Data sources
- Movies & TV — This product uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.
- Games — Game titles and cover art are provided by IGDB.com, a Twitch service.
- Steam — Some game details, cover art, and imported playtime come from Steam. Powered by Steam © Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
- Music — Album artwork and song previews are provided courtesy of Apple / iTunes; music links open in Apple Music. Apple, the Apple logo, and Apple Music are trademarks of Apple Inc.
- Spotify — When you connect Spotify, your top tracks and artists are provided by Spotify. Spotify and the Spotify logo are trademarks of Spotify AB.
- Books — Cover images and details are from Open Library, a project of the Internet Archive.
- Anime & Manga — Cover art and details are from AniList.
